PCS Express

Rolling outreach vehicles, the PCS Express fleet, was created to provide services to the residents of our region. Atmos Energy donated the vehicle wraps that displays a list of the services that the organization provides, contact information, and vivid colorful pictures that all supply ongoing advertising for Panhandle Community Services.

Stimulus funding allowed for renovation of the vehicles that features a desk, seating, and capabilities for a computer and printer. Clients can then be served at centralized locations in privacy, as the vehicle wraps provides adequate window shading. The vehicles can also accommodate disabled clients, as they are equipped with wheelchair lifts.

There is ample room for clients to apply for all services that Panhandle Community Services offers, or just obtain information relating to the services offered.

The PCS Express also accommodates those who lack transportation. Panhandle Community Services provides home visits for the elderly, disabled, or homebound.
