Hilltop Pantry Program
Are you seeking help with food, household items and/or pampers? Our pantry is available every 2nd and 4th Wednesday of the month from 8:00 am – 11:00 am.
HUD Housing
As a HUD Housing Authority, Panhandle Community Services promotes the “Fair Housing Act” that strives to achieve affordable and decent living environments for all people.
FIT
The Families In Training Program is a HUD funded, educationally driven self-sufficiency program that was created by Panhandle Community Services in the 1980?s.
PCS Express
Rolling outreach vehicles, the PCS Express fleet, was created to provide services to the residents of our region. Atmos Energy donated the vehicle wraps that displays a list of the services that the organization provides, contact information, and vivid colorful pictures that all supply ongoing advertising for Panhandle Community Services.
RSVP
Retired Senior Volunteer Program (RSVP) matches the personal interest and skills of seniors age 55 and older with opportunities to help solve significant problems for their community and meet the needs of fellow citizens. RSVP volunteers choose how & where they want to serve.
Transportation
Panhandle Transit operates a large fleet of vehicles that provide rural transportation across the Texas Panhandle with curb-to-curb service, in-town or out-of-town, for a very nominal fee with 24 hour notice.
Utility Assistance
Electric bills, gas bills, heaters, air conditioners, water heaters, and other appliances are types of assistance that are available for the elderly, disabled, and other households.
Weatherization
Weatherization is a home repair program focused on providing families with healthful dwelling environment and maximum energy conservation.
